Parks & Beaches are conveniently located within the community. Ignace is fortunate enough to have two pristine swimming be

aches with change rooms, picnic pavilions, and playground areas available. An enclosed swimming area on West Beach provides increased supervision for new and beginner swimmers.

 

 

 

Ignace SkatePark through dedication and hard work anything is possible , newly built in 2017 Ignace now has a Skatepark for people of all ages to enjoy biking, rollerblading, skateboarding and much more located beside the Ignace Arena this is a must stop for those who would like to try out their Tony Hawk skills. while there Please take  moment to acknowledge the donor sign to see who helped make this beautiful project happen.

The Ice Arena is available throughout the winter months for residents who prefer hockey, figure skating, or just enjoying open skating times. During all of July, a summer hockey school is offered by Northwestern Hockey Sports Camp to girls and boys of all ages.

The Golf & Country Club has an attractive nine-hole golf course, driving range, resting area and clubhouse open during the summertime for everyone's enjoyment. Call (807) 934-6871 for more information.

The Regional Travel Information Centre is located directly on Highway 17. Boasting a beautiful picnic and playground area with a nature trail leading through the woodlands, the facility also offers local and regional tourist information, along with exhibits of unique historical and wilderness themes in the Ignace area.
